PromisedLand Quartet
PromisedLand is an American Christian vocal group founded in January 2000 and based out of the great state of Virginia. Traveling and working over 120 dates per year, this group has won the hearts of thousands. Their off-stage love and accessibility, both to and for the folks that come to their concerts, is one of the things that people seem to appreciate most. Their desire to provide the finest in quality music while effectively ministering to the lost and hurting is truly the objective in each and every concert. PromisedLand has enjoyed radio & chart success several chart-topping songs. In 2008, the group was honored with a Dove Award consideration in the category of Southern Gospel Album of the Year for their project entitled Carved in Stone.
The group has appeared on Christian TV via the Daystar Network, the NRB Network, World Harvest, and Gospel Music Television, making multiple appearances on “Great American Gospel” & “American Gospel Onstage.” PromisedLand has been honored with multiple appearances on the Main Stage of the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN, as well as Dollywood. They have also performed for the National Center for Healthy Veterans and at Singing in the Sun in Myrtle Beach, SC. Tours internationally include stops in Canada, Ireland, Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, & St. Thomas. PromisedLand is comprised of tenor Joey Wilson, lead Gene Hamman, baritone Aaron Swain, and bass Steve Barnett.
